Common questions

Why did Readprint miss or misidentify a book?

Use clear, well-lit photos with several readable spines and limited glare, or add a clear screenshot of your e-reader library. You can submit up to six images, then correct or remove titles before generating your portrait.

Why did a request time out?

Book recognition and analysis require an internet connection and may take longer on restricted or unstable networks. Keep Readprint open and try again on a stable connection.

Is the portrait always accurate?

No. Recognition, analysis, and recommendations are generated with AI and may contain mistakes. Treat them as an interpretation of the books you confirmed, not as a psychological assessment or professional advice.

Does Readprint save my shelf?

Readprint does not keep a permanent cloud library. The app keeps your latest successful portrait and confirmed book list on your device so you can reopen it; deleting the app removes that copy. Input images are not intentionally stored by Readprint. To deliver a portrait reliably, the confirmed book list, job state, and generated portrait are retained by Cloudflare Workflow for up to one day, then expire automatically. Providers process request data as explained in our privacy policy.

How do I share my Readprint?

On the final portrait screen, choose Share to open the standard iOS share sheet. You decide which app or person receives the card.
